GDPR and your data rights

Last updated: 20 June 2026

DigitScaler (Digit Marketing) is committed to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This page summarises how we handle personal data and how you can exercise your rights. For full detail, see our Privacy Policy.

Who is responsible

Data controller: Digit Marketing (trading as DigitScaler)
KVK: 67540864, Langeveld 41, 4702 XW Roosendaal, The Netherlands
Email: [email protected]

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, to have it erased (the “right to be forgotten”), to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month, the period set by the GDPR.

Built-in data tools

Our plugins integrate with the native WordPress privacy tools (Tools → Export Personal Data and Tools → Erase Personal Data). This includes support tickets and license records, so store owners can fulfil data requests for their own users directly from the WordPress dashboard.

If you process data through our products

When you run our license server or plugins and process your own customers’ data through them, you are the data controller for that data and we act as a data processor on your behalf. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request at [email protected].

Sub-processors

We use a small number of processors and partners to operate our service: Paddle (Merchant of Record, payment and billing), Hetzner Online GmbH (hosting and email, Germany), and Google (Analytics). Each is bound by an appropriate agreement and safeguards.

Data breaches

In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify affected users and the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) where legally required, without undue delay.

Supervisory authority

If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
